THE BARNEY PROGRAM (AGES 20 TO 30 MONTHS)
Our unique Barney program is the perfect introduction to the day camp experience for your child. These new-to-camp toddlers each have their OWN counselor, providing them with one-on-one supervision as they enjoy their camping day.
Each Barney, with their one-on-one Counselor, is placed into small groups led by a Group Leader. The Barney Group Leaders are all certified teachers experienced in early childhood education. This mature staff creates a safe, accepting, and warm environment that parents can take comfort in.
There are two programs to choose from, either Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday. Both programs begin with a 9:30 parent drop-off and end with a 12:00 pm pickup. The program includes time for snack and drinks, which are provided throughout the day.
Barney campers experience hours of fun including Arts & Crafts, Gymnastics, Baking, Dance, Music, Sports, and Swim. Their day is full of fun, adventure, and socialization.
Our Barney Swim Program includes instructional and free swim daily with certified lifeguards. Our specialized swim instruction is designed for the toddler to feel comfortable in the water and develop swimming skills at their own pace. We provide the towels.
Barney campers (and their parents) will experience the magic of Twin Oaks and everything we have to offer!
